SAE - Reading School (and other results) Saturday, November 03

Of the 27 entries, 7 were graded over 1000, making this event one of the strongest of the season again. William Foo was the youngest of this top group and continued to show his ability, gaining a draw against Adrian Archer-Lock, the highest graded player and ending tied for top. Adrian had his revenge by winning the 5 minute play off.

Four players contended for the minor trophy. Giles Hutch beat Kieran Gray, and Sam Graesser beat Anastasia Oh (after first game was a draw). In the final play-off, Giles beat Sam to win the under 500 grade trophy.

Meanwhile, there were some super results for James Adair (5½ / 6 and joint 1st place) and Matthew Wadsworth (5 / 6, 4th=, U8 trophy) at the inaugural English Junior Rapidplay in London. Not to be left out, Daniel Noel secured an excellent win with 5 / 6 at the Guildford RGS Congress, qualifying him for the London Juniors.
