ECF U13 Championships Sunday, June 26
Tracey Vallis writes:

Berkshire did exceptionally well in the U13 major ECF Jamboree, with 2 players down, Boris Stoyanov stepped up to the challenge, gaining the first point of the day for Berkshire.

Peter Isaksen won a superb game in the second round against Sussex A team, with a possible chance of being picked as best game of day.

Going into round 3 Berkshire were in 2nd place, giving what we thought were 3 safe losses, proving ourselves wrong we went into 4th round drawing with Sussex B team for 2nd place.

The boys stepped up their game (after analysing the score), Peter Isaksen, Nikhil Kadambadi, Victor Stoyanov, Nicholas Vallis all gained a point with Gurveen Kapoor gaining half a point Berkshire managed to score 15 points enabling them to come a clear 2nd. A big well done to all the boys and Berkshire man of the match goes to Victor Stoyanov for winning all 4 of his games.
